Costus Sp. Emerald Chalise

Our most exciting and newest addition to our costus collection ,this spectacular dwarfish costus 3′ to 4′ with beautiful dark pleated green leaves and cup like ligules (pouches) up it’s stout, short cane. Inflorescence is a stunning fiery orange -red bract 4″ to 6″ tall with long yellow flowers with red lip stick flowers popping out throughout it’s bracts. Wonderful for container culture or tropical garden. Absolutely rare and one of a kind!
