Heliconia Vaginalis Costa Rica

An attractive species from Costa Rica that forms tight clumps of upright growth in one season, foliage is cannoid like, spiralling red and yellow bracts cover this beauty quickly. Has taken temperatures to the low 30’s F degrees for short periods of time. Height to 6’, Zone 8 and higher.
