Calathea Burlemarxii (Green Ice)

The striking beauty of calathea is unsurpassed in nobility, with its large corrugated paddle like leaves 2′ long and 12″ wide on a 4′ to 6′ plant which is the beautiful background for the forest green beehive shaped bract, soft to the touch with delicate yellow flowers emerging from within. Bracts and flowers last for weeks and make an excellent cut flower. Semi-root hardy, it makes a wonderful specimen in a large tub. Very exotic and easy to grow!
