Originally from Central and Samaria , West Indies, this bromeliaceous family sp. produces wide pineapple type leaves spotted with white/silver blotches, when the flower is produced it is a spectacular pink inflorescent “like a pink pineapple’ can be grown indoors and out. Watering is usually done through its cupped foliage. Hardy to zone 9 and higher.
