Sapodilla Manilkara Sapote Makok Sweet

A hardy evergreen tree from Central America to S.E. Asia, it’s fruit are 2″ to 4″ large and oval shaped and have brown fuzz covering its rough tan to brownish skin. The inside pulp is brownish/orange with a soft translucent juice, it’s flavor is very sweet, almost honey like, with a high crystallized sugar content. A great tree for the tropical fruit grower. 10′ to 20′ at maturity.
