Jaboticaba Myrciaria Cauliflora

Native to Brazil, Paraguay and Northern Argentina, slow growing tree to about 10′ to 20′ at maturity, adapts well to tropical and subtropical climates taking temperatures as low as 22F even when young, full sun to partial shade in a well draining acidic media, the whole fruit is purple resembling grapes with a somewhat grape flavor with thick skin, pulp is clear opaque, juicy and sweet born on small branches throughout the tree. An amazing tasting fruit!
