The reed orchid is often called the “poor man’s orchid” because they are so easy to grow. In container or in the ground, this variety puts out bright orange flower clusters. It can be a tall orchid (24″ – 36″) grows in zones 8-11. Blossoms vigorously in Spring through summer and into fall.

You will receive a rooted mature plant of 3 stems. Plant directly in the ground or in a pot using orchid mix. If potted, move indoors for temps below 50 degrees, though they are hardy down to 40 degrees.

Sold as rooted plant in 3 to 4 inch pots.
