Heart shaped foliage and hundreds of lightly fragrant flowers cover this gorgeous shrubby vine, blooming prolifically spring through early fall that’s why it is also known as Sweet Autumn Clematis. Originating from New Zealand, Maori call it Puawhananga. Other names are Leatherflower, Vase Vine, Old Man’s Beard, Virgin’s Bower. This vine is hardy, full sun and fast growing covering a large area quickly. Needs support structure to keep upright. Stunning!
