Alpinia Purpurata Sandrea

The foliage alone on this rare alpinia is beautiful just on it’s own, but it’s flower bract is made up cerise red bracts to make make up a large cone inflorescence with tiny white flowers that peek out intermittently. Zone 10 or higher, should be greenhoused or protected in cold snaps. Variegated foliage of green and white! A rarity for the collector!
