Flowering pink buds and large-waxy flowers in winter and spring, revealing later round fruits that split to form beautiful star-shaped seed pods. Can handle some drought and poor soils. The “Autograph Tree” derives it’s common name from its thick fleshy leaves that children etch their names on. A great tree for conversation!
