Hedychium Longicornutum

Native to Malaysia, but hardy in the States, this epiphytic species has a very striking bloom, out of the terminal cone comes a mass of red and yellow flowers long and thin with very long stamens of white and yellow tipped. Not a tall plant 2′ to 3′, it is one of the most bizarre looking Hedychiums we have ever seen. Definitely and eye catcher!
