A epiphytic species native of Borneo , it’s dwarf stature makes it an unusual site among other hybrid and species of hedychium. Growing to a mature height of 1-1/2’ -2’ , it’s foliage is dark green, thick and broad , inflorescence are cupped shaped bracts 3”-4”, revealing orange stamens on long stems.
It is grown best is coarse bark or a very porous media. Magnificent! Partial sun to shade, zone 9 and higher.
