A ground orchid that thrives in the soil of the forest floor. Violet purple flowers shoot up to 2 feet. Its foliage is dark green and deeply pleated 2 feet long resembling unopened palm fronds. Flowers can last up to 1 month or more. Needs very well draining soil and can be grown indoors or outdoors. Semi-hardy spring bloomer. Quite easy to grow. A very charming orchid! Note: maybe sent as plant or bulb depending on season.
