Pineapple Guava Feijoa Sellowiana

A medium sized shrub that can be pruned to desired height and size, the feijoa is very hardy and can take temps. as low as 15 F for a short time, foliage is ornamentally colored with silvery blue undersides and glossy green tops, flowering begins in summer and fruit matures to ripen stage 5 to 7 months after, fruits are 2″ -3″ long, green skinned with a creamy off white flesh having an excellent, aromatic, minty guava flavor, can be eaten fresh or made into preserves. Excellent shrub for costal foggy climates. Super hardy!
