Rose Apple Syzygium Jambos

A popular West Indian fruit, with beautiful ivory blossoms containing hundreds of showy stamens, the fruits are 1″ cylindrical shaped, yellow in color and are highly prized for making jellies and confections, inside is a loose brown seed, the fruit has a very unusual but refreshing distinct taste of fresh rose petals with crunchy texture, excellent for eating right of hand on this the 6′ to 8′ shrub which flowers and fruits from June-Oct. Very exotic taste!
