Sesbania Grandiflora Alba

A very graceful tree that grows very fast, it’s bark is corky, with feathery pinnate foliage ( ferny ) and bears beautiful large creamy white pea shaped like flowers usually in pairs , the leaves and flowers are edible usually steamed, boiled or sautéed as a vegetable throughout S.E. Asia. We have tried it prepared as tempura and it is fabulous! Height 15’, zone 8 and higher
