Unusual flowers attractive in shape and ease of cultivation makes this a very versatile garden plant addition. Dietes bi-color forms clumps of erect sword-shaped leaves 1” wide, light green in color and arranged in a flat fan shape, similar to the Iris family. Flowers are borne 3’ in diameter pale to light yellow with brown eyes( markings ) which are produced on branched ends. Flowers are produced on branched ends with numerous buds from Oct. – July . Can tolerate all types of soils.
