This species is widely grown as a street tree and shade tree on farms. The Kurrajong tree hails from the arid foothills of easter Australia. It’s a dense tall shrub to small tree that has gorgeous bell shaped flowers of cream, pink and red in large clusters covering the entire tree. Its trunk at maturity is swollen at the base giving it a bottle shaped effect. Fast grower!
Leaves are three lobed green and hang on pendulous stems.
