Shrub to small tree native to Africa, they are widely grown as ornamentals and for the cut flower trade, this particular variety is slightly furry and gold in a 3″ across looping pincushion shaped flower head. Foliage is lanceolate stiff and gray/green. Developoed at the University of Hawaii experimental station in Kula Maui.
